Christiane Shousha

Ms. Shousha received her BSc. in Computer Science from the American University in Cairo, Egypt, and her M.Eng. in Computer and Systems Engineering from Carleton University, Ottawa, Canada. She has over 20 years of experience in software development, requirements analysis, and project management, spanning various sectors including health care, telecommunications and biometrics. Participated in the development of several large-scale Enterprise applications including the Federally Facilitated Marketplace initiative (as part of the Affordable Care Act), AoL’s proprietary Promotions Rules Engine, Nortel’s DDME-DtM (Design To Manufacture application), and the automation of a Nationwide Health Insurance Organization funded by USAID.

Ms. Shousha is a Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and contributed as a technical expert in the development of curriculum and course content for IT project management, risk management, planning & control, and health IT for RGITC and UMUC. She is also Adjunct Professor at the University of Maryland University College (UMUC) with UMUC's Information Systems Management (IFSM) Department. Ms. Shousha performed research and has several IEEE and ACM publications on performance analysis and design patterns. In addition to her professional experience, Ms. Shousha speaks fluently four languages: English, French, German and Arabic.
